Preset designs
A preset is a complete starting look: colors, fonts, homepage layout, and sample content arranged for one kind of store. Freedom ships as a family of five. They are the same theme with the same sections and settings underneath, so the difference is only the starting style. You pick the one closest to your store, then change anything you want. One purchase includes all five, so you are never locked to the one you started from.
For how to add a preset to your store and apply it, see Install the theme and choose a preset.
The five presets
- Freedom is the lead preset, built for beauty and personal care: skincare, makeup, fragrance, bath and body. Its look is clean and apothecary-like, with plenty of space around the product.
- Crown is for apparel and menswear with a heritage, tailored feel. It suits clothing, accessories, and any brand that wants an editorial, considered look.
- Summit is for the outdoors: gear, apparel, and equipment for the trail, the campsite, or the workshop. It has a rugged, heritage-outdoor character.
- Vase is for home, art, and handmade goods: ceramics, textiles, prints, homeware, and studio makers. It reads as a maker's portfolio and works for both established studios and smaller makers.
- Harvest is for artisanal food and drink: coffee, wine, oil, honey, bread, chocolate, and other makers who tell an origin story. It leans on narrative and photography.
Picking one
Start from the preset whose niche is closest to yours, even if it is not exact. The look is a starting point, not a limit: colors, fonts, layout, and every section are yours to change once you are in the editor. A food maker could start from Harvest or from Crown and reshape either.
Tips
- The presets differ in their starting look, not their features. Any section or setting you see documented in this help center is available whichever preset you begin from.
- Each preset has its own Shopify Theme Store listing with its own preview, so you can see each look live before you choose. Buying from any one listing includes all five.
