Welcome to Crust

Crust is a premium Shopify theme for food and pantry stores: producers, grocers, delis, bakeries, and anyone selling things people eat. It arrives as a finished storefront, with the sections, colors, and type already arranged, and gives you an editor to reshape all of it. This article orients you: what you get, how a store is built with it, and where to find the rest of the help center.

What you get

Crust ships as one complete design: colors, fonts, homepage layout, and sample content, plus prebuilt templates for your product, collection, blog, about, contact, and FAQ pages. You use it as your foundation, then swap in your own products, images, and copy. See Install the theme for how to add it to your store.

It also ships six alternate product templates, each arranged for a different kind of catalog: bread and bakery, cured and cheese, honey and preserves, oils and vinegars, pantry and grains, and sweets and chocolate. Assign whichever one fits a product, or stay on the default. See Product page layout and blocks.

How a store is built

You build pages from sections, and most sections hold blocks that you add and arrange in the theme editor. The theme styles all of it from one set of colors and type, so a page you assemble yourself looks like the rest of the store. Store-wide options (colors, fonts, logo, cart, and more) live under Theme settings, and apply to every page at once.
