Seasonal shelf

Seasonal shelf presents up to eight seasonal items beside a month wheel. Each item has its own start and end month. The section marks items that include the current month as in season and shows when the other items return.

Add the section

1. In the theme editor, open the page where you want the shelf.
2. Click Add section.
3. Under Storytelling, choose Seasonal shelf.

The section starts with a header and four Shelf item blocks. Add, remove, or reorder the items to match your calendar.

The header

Above the wheel is a content slot named Header, prefilled with an eyebrow, a heading, and a short intro. Edit, reorder, or remove those blocks like any other content, or empty the slot to show only the wheel.

Shelf item settings

Each Shelf item has:

• Collection: pick a collection and the item takes its title, image, link, and product count from it, so the shelf follows the collection as you edit it in the admin.
• Title: the item name. Fill this to override the collection's title, or to name an item that has no collection behind it.
• Image: the image shown beside the item. Fill this to override the collection's image.
• Link: where the title and its matching arc on the wheel go. This is used only when no Collection is picked. With a collection picked, the item always links to that collection.
• In season from: the first month in the item's season.
• In season until: the last month in the item's season.

A range can cross the end of the year. For example, set In season from to November and In season until to February for a winter item. Set the range from January through December for an item available all year.
